Charlotte sent several photos. The first one had this caption: "Here are some of my favorites from the holiday season. This is Austin and me on a warm sunny day just before Christmas on the Cracker Barrel porch."
Charlotte also sent this one of Austin in the snow. She wrote, "Yes, snow in Houston, Texas. Actually, Katy. Second Baptist had a snow party for the kiddos after church the Sunday before Christmas."
Here is Charlotte's grandson, Austin, mastering his technique on his new Rip Stick. "He's growing up so fast".
Charlotte included this glam photo of herself and Gladys Marie Payne Bohac, with the caption: "Gladys and me, all decked out at my company Christmas party".
Be sure to read Gladys' and Charlotte's biographies, as well as taking a look at their shared photo album entitled "Holiday Expressions". Their joint projects are also featured in the post entitled "Christmas Projects".
Here is the photo Karla's family took on Thanksgiving day, for their Christmas '07 Newletter. Left to right, back row: Alex (in Daddy's arms), Matt, Jonathan, Jennifer, Ed
Left to right, front row: Megan, Tyler, Nana (Karla) and Ryan
This is Karla and Ed Davis's son Jonathan and his wife, Jennifer. Their sons are Tyler (age 9) and Ryan (age 5). They live about 3 minutes from Karla and Ed in Waco (YEA!!!). "We celebrated Christmas with both of our sons and their families on December 15th this year, since they were all going to be with the maternal grandparents on Christmas day."
This is Karla and Ed Davis's other son Matt, and his wife, Megan. Their son is Alex (age 17 months). They live about 2 hours from Karla and Ed in Dallas (BOO!!!). "We celebrated Christmas with both of our sons and their families on December 15th this year, since they were all going to be with the maternal grandparents on Christmas day. Unfortunately, Alex was quite sick that weekend - with an earache and high fever - so he was not his usual lively, cheerful little self. "
Not many of us had such beautiful mountain village scenery to view during our Christmas vacations. Ken and Carole Corey sent these pictures of their area.
Be sure to enjoy Ken and Carole's photo album entitled "Our Man in Macedonia" to see many other pictures of their interesting adventure and to get a glimpse into their lives in Macedonia.
Looks like Ken and Carole Corey had beautiful natural decorations for their Christmas in Macedonia.
Nice touch, Ken ~ the fancy hairpiece and lacy green finery! Is this a second outfit for the same snowman, or a partner for the snowfella?
Karla said, "Isn't the snow beautiful on the city streets!" Ed said, "Wouldn't want to be driving those roads". We both fondly remember snow at Christmas when we lived in Indiana, Colorado, and Wyoming.
Thanks for sharing your photos with us, Ken and Carole - it really is beautiful.
Billy Carter sent this photo, along with the following note: “The attached picture was taken Christmas Eve, 2007. Left to right: my wife Barbara, our 14 year old daughter, Amanda and me. Barb and I are both retired. Amanda attends Klein-Collins High School in Spring, TX. I am 6ft 1in tall. Note that Amanda is catching up with me in height."
To my question, “Does Amanda play basketball or volleyball?” Billy replied, “She tried basketball but did not like it. Currently she is in both (1.) the Marching Band's Color-guard (they toss flags) and (2.) the orchestra playing a cello.”
(Thanks, Billy, for sharing your fine looking family with us!
Be sure to read Billy's newly posted biography page - quite an interesting read!!! Karla)
Charles Simmons sent this photo of himself and his beautiful wife, Hilda, "at our annual Christmas gathering - Christmas 2007" Be sure to read Charles' biography page to learn what he and Hilda have been doing through the years.
