We all have memories of various plays and programs participated in or attended during our high school days. Here are some photos from the Plainsman produced Kaleidoscope Program to embellish those memories. (Click on album title to open. Once inside the album, click on individual thumbnails to view larger images.) Please send any related photos that you have to add to this collection. davise@swbell.net

Ray recently sent an e-mail to the class, asking for information about the Kaleidoscope, and I dug up this 1959 program. Do you recognize these legs? maybe the faces? What I remember is that my father became unglued when he saw the "skimpy" costume my mother had made for me to wear. Karla

Here is the "inside cover" blurb that gives info about how the Kaleidoscope started and had progressed by 1959. For those whose eyesight is diminishing, there is a larger print version transcribed in the "Memories..." thread to the left. Does anyone have the 1958 or the 1960 program?

I wonder if any of this casting was prophtetic, or did the part serve as on-the-job training.......hmmmmmmm.....Paul as a steward......Wally as a waiter.......Blair as a gondolier???? (see the previous, left hand page of the programme)

And I wonder if any of these acts made the big time?

More familiar faces - some from the class of 1960, others a bit "older".

Kaleidoscope Stars, 1959

Kaleidoscope Stars, 1959

It would be great to add captions with names to these Kaleidoscope pictures. If you know these guys, please send that info along in a comment under the "Memories..." thread. (Yes, I do know SOME of them...just not all...not for sure...)

According to informatoin submitted by Clyde (Sonny) Jones, the "Pastels" were (front) Wally Sisk (middle row) Sonny Jones, Tony Hayman, Tommy Pancamo and (top) Derwent Sizemore.

The Debonaires were not a Milby group.
